Here in Lake County, the red volcanic soils, sunshine, low fog, 1400 ft + elevation, and cool summer nights add up to a wonderful place to grow red grapes.

This beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of dark red fruit with just a hint of fresh herbs. The flavors are Black cherry, boysenberry, and tobacco with soft, yet lingering tannins.

Explore the rich history of Lake County winemaking with Jed Steele, a pioneer in the industry for over five decades. After earning his master's degree from UC Davis in 1974, Jed honed his skills at prestigious wineries such as Stony Hill and Edmeades, before ultimately following his passion to Lake County. His expertise and experience make him a true expert in the North Coast wine region.

Lake County is as warm as Napa Valley and is known for producing reds like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel. It's known for being a great value region where you get a great bang for your buck!
