This is flat out the best deal in white Burgundy! Every year Jean Louis bottles up all his Puligny-Montrachet that doesn't make it into the final cut for his Village wine and bottles it as a basic Bourgogne Blanc. At half of the price of his Puligny-Montrachet label, this blows our minds each year.

The 2021 is a leaner style than the 2020. Notes of preserved lemon, chamomile tea, hazelnut toffee and white flowers.

Domaine Jean Louis Chavy is located in the village of Puligny Montrachet. Their property dates back to 1820, handed down through the family for six generations. The new generation has aquired new plots and modernized the wine making process

The main growing region of Burgundy spans from Dijon in the north through the Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, Challonaise all the way through to Macconais. Chablis and Beaujolais too.
The primary varieties here are Chardonnay for white and Pinot Noir for red, you can also find Aligote and Gamay for a little variety.
