The Voillot family has been farming in Pommard, Volnay, and Mersault since 1870. In the 1980’s they started pursuing more sustainable winemaking practices like eliminating all chemical pesticides and herbicides, reducing sulfur additions, and reduced aging in new oak.
This wine is fresh and delicious and is intended to be drunk young. The fruit comes from the blend of the Longs Bois and Grandes terres terroirs,with deep soils, composed of Argovian marl and Bathonian limestone. These vines were planted in 1953, 1966 and 1972.
