Krieger family has been growing grapes and making wine on the hills of Pfalz since 1652. Thortsen took the reins in 2001, his tutelage began as a youth in the winery and he went on to become both a certified sommelier and obtained a degree in business administration. Grauburgunder is the German alias for Pinot Gris. This bottle is both elegant and supple with an extracted palate, oozing with notes of honey, juicy pear, yellow apple and an assertive but friendly spiciness. Opulence in a bottle!
