Romantic wines of Piedmont
The Pelassa Collection
In the 1950s, while trying to provide for his family, Mario Pelassa rode his bike into Turin every chance he got so that he would be able to sell his wine to the people living there who were benefitting from a thriving economy.
Not long after that Mario and his wife Maria Teresa founded the Pelassa Winery to bring their vision to life. They wanted to show off the romanticism of Piedmont that they loved so dearly.
They focused on creating wines that spoke of passion and of the beautiful terroir that they were blessed with. To do so, they followed sustainable practices to respect the land and keep it as natural as possible.
Since the 2000s, the Pelassa Winery has been taken over by his sons, Davide and Daniele. Davide, a tractor driver by vocation, is in charge of getting the best grapes to the winery. Daniele, on the other hand, is the face of Pelassa Wine, the more commercial and communicative soul.
