The Pinuaga family has been making wines since the 1960's and the primary focus of the winery is to create low intervention, organic wines that express the diversity of the soil surrounding the vineyard.

The regions of Castilla Y Lyon contains some of Spain's most notable Do's including Ribera del Duero, Toro, and Bierzo. The region is famous for its red wines and climate which is characterized by dry, hot summers and frigid winters where temperatures reach well below freezing.
