WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:
An elegant garnet red with orange-coloured highlights. On the nose it's very fruity, elegant, and intense. On the palate its got excellent body with power while maintaining balance. Cellar for 10-15 years after release. This Barolo pairs best with red meats in general, game, mature cheeses.
The 2014 vintage in Barolo:
There was a mild winter, while spring appeared on the vineyards of the Langhe gradually but early, causing an early vegetative restart. The beginning of summer saw normal temperatures allowing to maintain the small vegetative advance, which matured in spring. The amount of rainfall in the summer was above the average in intensity which, combined with the non-low average temperatures, created the ideal conditions for fungal attacks and the health of the grapes in general. The month of September was undoubtedly positive from a climatic point of view, with a good temperature range, contributing significantly to the ripening of the grapes and the composition of its phenolic framework.
The Barolo of the 2014 vintage has interesting potential, demonstrating truly surprising adaptability to our area.
