WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

"A blend of savory herbs, black tea leaves and flowery underbrush defines the slightly muted bouquet of the 2018 Brunello di Montalcino. It's soft-textured, with a supple wave of ripe red fruits and sweet spice contrasted by hints of sour citrus. A coating of fine tannins is left to resonate, as hints of cranberry and violet inner florals slowly taper off. There's a good amount of fruit and acidity to balance the structure of the 2018, yet I'd recommend waiting for this to evolve more aromatically." Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 93 points

Luigi Anania and his son farm just 5 and a half hectares of vines, all organically and in the most attentive and caring way. His vines are unique in that they sit at over 420 meters of altitude, so even in the hot years, these wines manage to show elegance and finesse. Everything here is done according to traditions, there are no modern advantages or and steps taken to mechanize the process. At La Torre, the goal is to make wines that speak of the land and that can?t be rushed.

Tuscany as a broader region includes famous areas including Montalcino and Chianti and of course the famous table wine, the Super Tuscan. The most planted variety is Sangiovese but international varieties are increasing in popularity with the critical acclaim of Super Tuscan style wines.
