WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Cabernet with pronounced brightness and elegance, thanks to the cooler climate of Langhorne Creek. It has bright dark fruit notes, underlined with a tantalizing eucalyptus note and firm, peppery tannins. Burgers - beef, portobello mushroom or otherwise are the perfect pair with this bottle.

The Heartland wines are a favourite at Market Wines. Coming from esteemed winemaker Ben Glaetzer in a lesser known pocket of the Barossa valley called Langhorne Creek.

When most of the world fears floods, Langhorne Creek viticulturists welcome a good winter flood. The region is famous for flood irrigation, soaking the vines to sustain for the rest of the growing season. Located near to Adelaide Hills in South Australia, much of the grapes here go into bulk wine production but some producers see the value in the cooler climate region to produce wines with elegance and lifted aromatics.
