You’ll find the Langhe in northwestern Italian region of Piemont. This beautiful area has been a part of Giulia Negri’s family heritage since the 1800s. Giulia herself, however, was born in Palermo, grew up in Rome, studied in Milan, and then, at just 24 years old, came back to Piedmont to take over operations of her families estate. She’s been influenced by her “garagiste” friends and their heretical wines. Giulia bet everything on Serradenari and its vines situated at the highest point of the land of Barolo, and on a team of collaborators. We think you’ll agree, the results are magnificent!
This 100% Nebbiolo comes from west facing vines planted at 460 meters above sea level. Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously, the wine is then aged for 24 months in 25 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels.
