WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

This premier cru vineyard is situated at a high elevation with a southern exposure. In the 2020 vintage, 30% of the grapes were fermented whole cluster, resulting in a wine that boasts rich and deep aromas, while maintaining lift and finesse from the use of whole clusters. It displays a lovely floral character and exceptional freshness, with impressive depth and intensity. Bottled in December 2021 after aging in only 20% new oak, this is a serious premier cru that values freshness and finesse above all else. Winemaker Fabien Coche strives to highlight the vibrant and effortless nature of Pinot Noir in his wines, without excessive manipulation.

In 2005, Fabien Coche, a fourth-generation vigneron, took over his family's domaine. Coming from one of Burgundy's most well-known families (his cousin Raphael runs the renowned Coche-Dury estate), Fabien has become the standout of his generation. He boasts a coveted 11 hectares of land across Meursault, Monthelie, Pommard, and Auxey-Duresses.

The main growing region of Burgundy spans from Dijon in the north through the Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, Challonaise all the way through to Macconais. Chablis and Beaujolais too.
The primary varieties here are Chardonnay for white and Pinot Noir for red, you can also find Aligote and Gamay for a little variety.
Burgundy is a treasure chest of tiny vineyards with unique soil compositions and exposures that grant tiny plots the best conditions. The best red and white Burgundy rewards with time in The Cellar.
