WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Coming from a small 0.25 hectare parcel planted over a hundred years ago, the grapes produce a small yield and are harvested in late fall to maximize their ripeness. The resulting wine is a delightful medium bodied aligote with notes of nuts and spice balanced out with zesty citrus and salinity.

In 2005, Fabien Coche, a fourth-generation vigneron, took over his family's domaine. Coming from one of Burgundy's most well-known families (his cousin Raphael runs the renowned Coche-Dury estate), Fabien has become the standout of his generation. He boasts a coveted 11 hectares of land across Meursault, Monthelie, Pommard, and Auxey-Duresses.

The main growing region of Burgundy spans from Dijon in the north through the Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, Challonaise all the way through to Macconais. Chablis and Beaujolais too.

The primary varieties here are Chardonnay for white and Pinot Noir for red, you can also find Aligote and Gamay for a little variety. Burgundy is a treasure chest of tiny vineyards with unique soil compositions and exposures that grant tiny plots the best conditions. The best red and white Burgundy rewards with time in The Cellar.
