Contesa is a family-run winery founded in 2000 by Rocco Pasetti. The winery is located in Collecorvino, in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. Their focus is on growing indigenous grapes from the area, including Montepulciano, Trebbiano, and Passerina, among others.
They live by the philosophy that "wine is made in the vineyard" and pride themselves on a hands-on approach to winemaking, creating beautiful bottles year after year.

The region is best known for Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, a deeply colored red that delivers juicy dark fruit, gentle spice, and approachable structure, as well as Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, producing fresh, crisp whites with subtle texture.
