WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Bright and pale pink, this Sancerre rosé has a playful freshness. The wine is layered with notes of strawberry, raspberry and a whisper of grapefruit pith. Lovely to drink young, and even more expressive and rewarding after a few quiet years in the cellar.

Annick Tinel-Blondelet is the 12th generation at the Domaine. She took over the estate from her parents in 1983, but there is a history of the family that dates back nearly 400 years to the 1650's. Annick Tinel-Blondelet has managed the Estate since 1983, after earning her diploma in Viticulture and Oenologie in Beaune. Passionate about nature, she aims to produce wines that match her personality : authentic, frank and full of vitality. Marlene, her daughter, has worked with her since 2016. The Domaine operates in 3 appellations (the third is Pouilly-Sure-Loire), managing 16Ha of land, 3 terroirs and 3 grape varietals Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chasselas.

Located on the France's Atlantic coast. The most recognizable wine of the Loire Valley is regionally labelled Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre. Dont let that overshadow coastal Muscadet Sevre Maine, it's coastal influence makes an idea pairing for seafood. Saumur and Touraine produce vibrant reds from Cabernet Franc as well as whites as bright as a coastal sunrise. Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc are the most planted varietals and can range from sweet to dry or even sparkling. The Loire is a magnificent wine region to explore.
