WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Bodegas Ochoa's Gran Reserva is a benchmark of both their winery and the family, made only in their best years with the best of their selected estate fruit. This vintage is mostly Tempranillo with some Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Incredibly elegant with rich tannins.

Aged for the first 2 years in both American and French oak barrels and another 6 years in bottle until release. It is a perfect wine to pair with grilled meats, pork or veal roasts, stews, and cured cheeses.

Ochoa's vineyards are looked after during 365 days per year in organic manners. A great amount of care is given during the entire process of wine making, from pruning the vines to reduce yields and increase concentration, to harvesting at night to retain acidity. It's a family affair, and even though their entire team's last name isn't Ochoa, the entire team is family.

Navarra is in Spains northeast between rioja and the french border. Because of its proximity to France, Navarra is spanish with a french accent, producing both traditional Spanish varietals like Grenache and Tempranillo but also French Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
