Relmu is a word borrowed from the Mapuche, the first people of modern day Chile it means rainbow.

Due to the size of the Central Valley, it is home to many different soil types and climatic influences. The climate is generally cool and you can find great value in the region due to affordable labour. Some smaller GI's in the area include the Maipo Valley, Maule Valley, Rapel and Curico.
