WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

This white from Tresmano Winery is made from 100% Albillo Mayor (Al-BEE-yo MY-yor), an ancient grape variety indigenous to Spain. The vines are from two exclusive plots and range in age from 60-100 years old. This grape is known to be delicate with a lot of personality and requires careful attention during the winemaking process. Pedro at Tr3smanos ages this wine in oak barrels for 9 months which adds richness. On the nose it's intensely mineral and citrusy. On the palate its fresh acidity is balanced with warm flavours like toasted hazelnuts. Substantial texture and body with a long, memorable finish.

Located on the famed “Golden Mile” of Ribera del Duero, Tr3smano stands as one of the region’s oldest wineries — and one of its most iconic. Founded by three friends (the name means “three hands”), the estate combines deep-rooted tradition with forward-thinking craftsmanship. Set at one of the highest elevations in Europe, its vineyards include some of the oldest vines in the area, yielding grapes of remarkable concentration and character. The result is a collection of wines that embody power, elegance, and a true sense of place in Spain’s most celebrated red wine region.

Ribera del Duero reds are deeply colored, full-bodied wines with firm tannins and medium to high acidity. Classic flavor notes include blackberry, cassis, plum, red berries, vanilla, spice, leather, and tobacco. These are complex, structured wines with lively acidity and great potential to develop over time.
