WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Bright, fresh, and effortlessly enjoyable; Melea Sparkling is a lively, organic wine from Spain that bubbles with character and is made with traditional Cava grapes: Xarel-lo, Parellada and Macabeo. Boasting crisp notes of green apple, pear, and lemon zest, it is balanced by a soft, creamy texture and a clean, citrus-driven finish. Perfect for toasting, brunching, or just adding a little sparkle to any day.

Melea's vineyards are oganically certified, traditionally managed, dry-farmed in the Cuenca area of La Mancha. The vineyards were planted in 1999 and are at an altitude of 660m with sandy-clay soils, low in organic matter and high in chalk and limestone.

In the northeast corner of Spain, Catalonia's Mediterranean climate is shared by only 2% off the globe. The ideal growing conditions here present far fewer challenges in grape growing than other regions in Spain.
