Château Suau today is a beautiful 82-acre property, located south of the village of Capian, 35 km from Bordeaux. The vineyard is located on the highest point of the AOC Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux, an altitude of 100 meters. The vineyard is surrounded by forests and hedges to help maintain a balance between biodiversity, cultivated and wild areas.

In 2008, Château Suau began its conversion to organic farming. Since the 2014 vintage, all products are certified Ecocert and wines are produced under the direction of Michel Rolland.

Bordeaux one of the most famous and prestigious wine making regions of the world. Bottles from this region fetch the highest prices per bottle across the globe. On the right bank of the Gironde River, Merlot thrives. Famous regions like Pomerol and St Emilion can be found here. On the left bank in the Medoc, Graves and Pessac Leognan, Cabernet Sauvignon is the dominant variety. The wines of Bordeaux can be very powerful and demanding of time in the cellar.
