WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

The 2022 vintage of Domaine Joliet Fixin 1er Cru "Clos De La Perriere" has aromas of violets, cassis, dark cherries with hints of dark chocolate on the finish. On the palate there are hints of a stone fruit pit, and rose petal lingering on the palate. With rich and supple tannins paired with a velvety texture, this wine is built for ageing.

Wines from Clos de la Perriere were for generations regarded among the greatest of all of Burgundy; only Chambertin and Clos de Beze held the same status. The Joliet family has been making wine here since the 1800's. This is a rare discovery and one Burgundy lovers should seek out. Farmed organically and aged for 24 months in French Oak.

The main growing region of Burgundy spans from Dijon in the north through the Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, Challonaise all the way through to Macconais. Chablis and Beaujolais too.
The primary varieties here are Chardonnay for white and Pinot Noir for red, you can also find Aligote and Gamay for a little variety.
Burgundy is a treasure chest of tiny vineyards with unique soil compositions and exposures that grant tiny plots the best conditions. The best red and white Burgundy rewards with time in The Cellar.
