A small, family-driven estate based in Puglia, Ionis Winery was started by Dr. Giulio Palmisano in the mid 1970’s and is carried forward today by his sons. The winery focuses on showcasing the indigenous grape varieties found in Puglia including Negroamaro and Primitivo. Ionis strives to produce wines that reflect both tradition and the warmth of the Salento landscape.
