WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Named after the Cretaceous chalk strata beneath the vineyard, Culver is Langham's Pinot Noir-dominant sparkling wine, showcasing the richness and depth of its two red varieties. Bone dry yet beautifully balanced, it offers notes of baked apple, fresh apricot and subtle toast, supported by a fine, persistent mousse and 14 months of lees ageing. A blend of 45% Meunier, 43% Pinot Noir and 12% Chardonnay, its structure and complexity make it an excellent match for seafood, especially fresh crab.

Langham is a family-owned winery dedicated exclusively to traditional method sparkling wine. Working with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from its 34-hectare estate, the team takes a low-intervention approach in both the vineyard and winery, allowing each vintage to express its character with clarity and precision. Sustainability is central to the estate's philosophy, with thoughtful farming and minimal intervention guiding every step from vine to bottle.

Located in southern England, the Wessex wine region spans the counties of Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight. Renowned for world-class traditional method sparkling wines, the region excels with classic Champagne varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Its chalk and ancient limestone soils provide excellent drainage while reflecting sunlight back into the vineyard, helping grapes ripen slowly and evenly to produce wines of exceptional freshness and complexity.
