WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Deep red with glints of purple. Hints of plums, blueberries and blackberries combined with cinnamon and white pepper spices. Combines amplitude and stress with a dense and silky matter. Mature tannins which easily pass thanks to the fruit and its freshness. Powerful, full-bodied and luscious with numerous but not over-bearing spices finishing with menthol resinous notes.

Great wine for BBQ burgers!

Our dear friend Jeff Carrel makes an elaborate range of wines, we're perhaps most fond of some of his more unusual bottlings. One of his goals is to revive grape-growing culture in some of the more remote areas of the south of France. He's planting unique varieties of grapes and encouraging young people to return to the area to farm the vines.

France produces more fine wine than any other country. It's most famous regions are Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Loire Valley and Alsace and Cotes du Rhone. Amazing value can be found in the lesser known regions and regional French appellations.
