WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

The Moulds Vineyard is the jewel of Oak Knoll, perched on a bench above the valley floor. Here the alluvial rock has collected over the millennia giving the sub-soil great drainage that translates into excellent wine.

In 2019, the vines enjoyed a fantastic vintage, with a long, steady growing season and enough warmth to bring this Cabernet into top form.

Deep purple color with exotic aromatics of blackberry, black cherry, dark chocolate, and more. Rich and dense flavors with a long finish. Only 97 cases produced.

Try it with sage crusted rib roast.

Relic was born in 2001 with the mission to make world-class wines that have ultimate complexity, aromatics, nuance and personality from some of the best sites in Napa Valley and the Sonoma Coast. Making Bordeaux varietals from Napa and Burgundian varietals from Sonoma. Owners Michael Hirby and Scatzi Throckmorton strive to make wines that represent place and time.
