WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

This wine is composed of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petite Verdot, and 1% Malbec from 5 different vineyard sites surrounding the town of Saratoga in the Santa Cruz Mountains. On the nose, it gives aromas of plump blue fruits with layers of cedar and earth. The palate is bright with balanced acidity and tannin. A worthy candidate for your cellar to be aged for at least a decade.

In the Santa Cruz Mountains, about 50 miles south of San Francisco, the celebrated Mount Eden Vineyards is perched: a dizzying 2000 feet above the Silicon Valley. Established in 1945, this iconic estate is recognized as one of the original boutique wineries in California. Over the past 75 years they have established a reputation for their estate Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Santa Cruz Mountains, south of San Francisco, benefits from the cool Pacific Ocean. At a high elevation the oceanic influence coupled with the elevation create an ideal terroir for growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
