WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

The NV Extra Brut Rose de Meunier is dazzling. Rich yet focused, with superb depth, Laherte's Extra Brut Rose is a magical Champagne in every way. Orange peel, sweet red berry fruit, cranberry, mint and chalk are some of the many aromas and flavors that develop as this breathtaking Champagne shows off its pedigree. In a word: magical. - 94 points, Antonio Galloni

Laherte's champagnes are full in flavor and strongly imprinted by place, reflecting the earthy, stony terroirs of the Coteaux Sud d'Epernay. With their often ample girth and intense expression of soil, the wines can sometimes veer toward the rustic, but they more than make up for it by their depth of character. Dosage is always very low, between four and eight grams, which suits the ripeness and concentration of fruit here, derived from conscientious work in the vines.

Champagne is possibly the most recognized regional "brand" in wine. Famous for its traditional method sparking wine, the standard accompaniment to any celebration. The chalky soils and rich history make Champagne and unparalleled region for sparkling wine.
