Named after Geraldine's parents, Lacourte and Godbillon, this winery has deep roots in grape growing. She is the first in her family to produce her own wine, rather than selling to larger Champagne houses. Located in the premier cru village of Écueil, on the western flank of the "petite Montagne de Reims", their 20.5 acres of vineyards are mostly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a small portion in the neighboring village of Les Mesneux. The vines have an average age of 30 years.

Champagne is possibly the most recognized regional "brand" in wine. Famous for its traditional method sparking wine, the standard accompaniment to any celebration. The chalky soils and rich history make Champagne and unparalleled region for sparkling wine.
