WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

The grapes for the “Mosaïque Calcaire” come from various plots with an array of soil types including clay, lime and marl soils. This soil ensures a deep implantation of the vines and gives richness to the wine, while the limestone subsoil and sediments of small shells provide a fine minerality.

On the nose there are aromas of gooseberry, lime zest and passionfruit. The wine is primarily aged in stainless steel tanks (88%) with the rest in French Oak barrels (12%) Due to the short barrel age of the wine, it is perfect to be enjoyed now! With good structure and a fresh finish, pair with seafood, or your seasonal asparagus dishes!

Stéphane Riffault, son of Claude Riffault, has become one of the most sought-after producers in the region. He took over the management of the domaine at a young age and his top Sancerre wines quickly became the envy of some of the region's most established vintners.

When his father retired, Stéphane took over the winery and embarked upon a journey of viticultural transformation. Today, all 13.5 hectares are certified organic and biodynamic The entire harvest is carried out by hand and an extensive sorting takes place before the grapes are crushed –– a testament to his craftsmanship and an unwavering commitment to sustainability.

Located on the France's Atlantic coast. The most recognizable wine of the Loire Valley is regionally labelled Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre. Dont let that overshadow coastal Muscadet Sevre Maine, it's coastal influence makes an idea pairing for seafood. Saumur and Touraine produce vibrant reds from Cabernet Franc as well as white's as bright as a coastal sunrise. Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc are the most planted varietals and can range from sweet to dry or even sparkling. The Loire is a magnificent wine region to explore.
