The land that Vineland Estate Winery is on has been farmed since the 1800's when the original owners immigrated from Europe, though the first vintage of wine was not released until 1983. As of the last 30 years, the Vineyard is dedicated to producing excellent wines and protecting the history of the land.

The Niagara region is the largest and most concentrated wine region in Canada. The close proximity to Lake Ontario and the Niagara River create the ideal conditions to produce cool-climate wines.
