Monte Creek focuses on their unique location and property which is 1,200 acres. The winemaking philosophy is to showcase the terroir of the South Thompson valley, where they produce Riesling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other premium wines.

The Thompson Valley is one of the newest of BC’s 9 designated wine regions and was officially granted a geographic wine indiciation (GI) in 2018. The Thompson Valley is one of the northernmost wine regions and the valley is built on ancient flood plains of limestone and volcanic soil —soils which are ideal of quality grape production. The region is also sheltered within a raid shadow to help balance and brighten the acidity in wines form this region.
