WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Intense blackberry and cherry, with hints of currant. Toasted oak and sweet tobacco too. Roses and other flowers, such as lilacs. Full-bodied, with masses of tannins yet incredibly long and seductive. - 98 points Wine Spectator

*Ranked #3 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2006, Collectible*

Leoville Barton is one of the few remaining family owned classified growths of Bordeaux. In 1826 the property was purchased by Irishman, Hugh Barton. He also owned Langoa Barton. The Leoville Barton property is still owned by the Barton family today.

St Julien is located on the left bank of Bordeaux. The small commune has the highest concentration of classed growths. The Cabernet Sauvignon based wines that are produced here are structured, perfumed and elegant.
