WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

An expressive and bright Chardonnay with aromas of lemon zest, crips green apples and hints of peach and white florals. On the palate it is vibrant and refreshing, with a crisp minerality balancing out the ripe orchard fruit characteristics. Pair this wine with seafood, roasted chicken or a light cream pasta sauce.

In the XVIIth century the name of Talmard can be
found in registers pertaining to wine culture. One
after the other, generations of vineyard owners
have brought their knowhow and pugnacity. Since
1997, the family affair winegrower continue with Mallory and Benjamin and now most recently their son Marco.

The Macconnais is a wine region in France - based in southern Burgundy known for wines based on the grape Chardonnay. Particularly wines from Pouilly-Fuisse and Macon AOC's. It is located west of the Saone river by the town of Macon, which the region is named after.

The region produces wines with considerably more structure due to its location (bordering beaujolais) and climate. Which is relatively sunny and warm. Although continental, there is a mediterranean influence.
