Marlborough put New Zealand on the international stage in the 80’s with their Sauvignon Blanc. This is also the largest Wien region in the country with a range of varieties ebbing grown in the area including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and the classic Sauvignon Blanc. The cool, yet sunny climate alongside low rainfall and fertile soil help produce the outstanding wins from this region.
