WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

Intense ruby red with a fresh bouquet that shows a persistent mix of fruity and floral notes. On the palate it's delicate and well balanced with notes of small red fruits, blackcurrant, blackberry, plum and violet, with a soft, enjoyable finish. Pairs well with pork sausages and lasagna.

Sasso di Sole winery is a family owned business. It is situated in a unique area within the north-eastern side of Montalcino and the Natural Artistic Park of the Orcia Valley, which has recently been nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 100% organically farmed, The Terzuoli family has always strived to achieve the very best quality for its own products according to the traditions set out by the Montalcino community. To this extent the family is proud to carry out a careful manual selection of grapes, before aging in 3500-5000 litre Slavonia oak barrels for all wines.

Tuscany as a broader region includes famous areas including Montalcino and Chianti and of course the famous table wine, the Super Tuscan. The most planted variety is Sangiovese but international varieties are increasing in popularity with the critical acclaim of Super Tuscan style wines.
