Winemaker Eva Palazas is at the helm of Finca Can Petit’s production team. She balances flavours using classic Cava varietals, 55% Macabeao and 45% Parellada grown in a single estate vineyard. The vineyard site, rich in lime soils contribute to the structure and balance of the wines. Tart green apple and pear flavours are complimented by toasted brioche. Cava is a great option for traditional method sparkling wine lovers and a budget friendly option.

Latido de Sara Garnacha 2022 – Navarra, Spain $18.95
Sara Martinez-Lagos father always encouraged her to follow her own path and make her own wine. Latido de Sara is a tribute to her father who passed away due to heart problems. Latido de Sara translates to “Sara’s heartbeat.” Bright red candied berries jump from the glass with complimentary flavours of vanilla and balsamic.

Experience 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley, California $39.95
This wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon comes from husband and wife duo Travis and Catherine Vale. The name Experience is a nod to the bus they met on in New Zealand called the ‘Kiwi Experience’. Intense ruby in colour, this bottle opens with a lovely bouquet of forward fruit, soft notes of oak from the barrel fermentation, some anise and a hint of mocha. Ripe black fruit unfolds on the palate offering cassis, blackberry and black cherry. The finish is long and lingering with a smooth rich texture, it truly is an experience.
