Since its inception Vignalta has pioneered quality through the planting of vines on the side of the highest of the Euganean hills, and by vininfying their fruit with utmost precision. Today they still carry along that path of excellence and maintain the high standards of their viticultural heritage, all the while combining modern oenological techniques with a focus on environmental sustainability.
The Merlot Riserva comes from vines 20 to 30 years old with southwest exposure. The wine was aged for three years in French oak tonneaux. It’s silky and smooth with a rustic edge, you’ll find notes of mocha, raspberry and loads of fresh herbs.
