One of the finest small producers in the village of Meursault, the Boissons have been vignerons here for more than two centuries, and the wines today are as fine as they have ever been in the long and illustrious family history.
This beautiful Bourgogne Blanc comes two parcels in Meursault: Les Clous Perrons and Les Basses-Coutures, the vines are, on average, 40 years old. Grapes are harvest by hand and fermented using indigenous yeast. Post fermentation the wine is aged in barrique, 10% of which is new. The wine is racy and fresh with notes of tart citrus, quince, apricot and honied almonds. While it’s drinking beautifully now, it’s got potential to age in the cellar.
