WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

The low intervention and biodynamic practices of the domaine create a unique expression of Gamay. On the nose there are aromas of tart red cherries, raspberrys and a flinty minerality. On the palate it is light to medium bodied with low tannins and has flavours of crushed berries and earthy undertones. Pair with a soft cheese or roasted cauliflower.

After completing his studies and working abroad in New Zealand Mickael Salmon, the newest winemaking generation of the Salmon family joined ranks with his father at Domaine Lucas Salmon. The name Lucas pays hommage to his great grandparents who were also winemakers at the estate.

Located on the France's Atlantic coast. The most recognizable wine of the Loire Valley is regionally labelled Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre. Dont let that overshadow coastal Muscadet Sevre Maine, it's coastal influence makes an idea pairing for seafood. Saumur and Touraine produce vibrant reds from Cabernet Franc as well as white's as bright as a coastal sunrise. Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc are the most planted varietals and can range from sweet to dry or even sparkling. The Loire is a magnificent wine region to explore.
