From a young age, Antonio Fattori knew he wanted to study and make wine, following in the footsteps of his father, and his grandfather before him. The vines, planted around Terrossa in the early 1900’s by his grandfather of the same namesake, he returned from WWI to phylloxera-ridden vines. Undaunted, he pressed on and today, the family makes expressive and intriguing wines in Veneto. The white wines are all planted on basalt slopes in the alpine valley, imparting a palpable minerality. The wines are vegan friendly.
Soave is a dry white made from the Garganega (“gar-GAN-nehgah”) grape which is known for it’s zesty notes of citrus and honeydew melon, this lovely example is true to this with a hint of macadamia nut. It’s easy drinking and delightful!
