WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

100% Pinot Noir, this entry into Burgundy by Fabien Coche is elegant and lifted yet powerful and structured in its youth. A few weeks of carbonic maceration and destemming bring freshness to the wine while retaining its purity. There are notes of ripe strawberry, damp earth, morel mushroom

In 2005, Fabien Coche, a fourth-generation vigneron, took over his family's domaine. Coming from one of Burgundy's most well-known families (his cousin Raphael runs the renowned Coche-Dury estate), Fabien has become the standout of his generation. He boasts a coveted 11 hectares of land across Meursault, Monthelie, Pommard, and Auxey-Duresses.

The main growing region of Burgundy spans from Dijon in the north through the Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, Challonaise all the way through to Macconais. Chablis and Beaujolais too.
The primary varieties here are Chardonnay for white and Pinot Noir for red, you can also find Aligote and Gamay for a little variety.
Burgundy is a treasure chest of tiny vineyards with unique soil compositions and exposures that grant tiny plots the best conditions. The best red and white Burgundy rewards with time in The Cellar.
