WE LOVE IT BECAUSE:

This rose blend is comprised of 60% Garnacha, 30% Tempranillo, 10% Viura. There are aromas of wild strawberries, juicy peaches, citrus zest and subtle rose petal notes. The palate is fresh and vibrant with notes of red berries and a crisp mineral backbone. Perfect for warm days, summer sipping to be enjoyed with tapas and goat cheese summer salads!

Located in the Ocón Valley which is South West of Logrono. This is the largest independently owned estate in Rioja and the most eco-diverse. There are 800 hectares planted to grain fields, olive groves, almond orchards and grapevines, with 400 hearted left for wildlife. The vineyards only cover 112 hectares of the land. Led by winemaker Barbara Palacios, the approach is mixing innovations with tradition - you will not find your grandfathers Rioja here!

Rioja Oriental is one of the oldest wine regions in Spain, dating back to the Roman era. The region enjoyed a major boost in production in the late 19th CE during which wine merchants from Bordeaux arrived in search for supplies after battling mildew & phylloxera. There was great influence in oak barrels fro again — which is now a key characteristic of Rioja today!
