The Voillot family has been farming in Pommard, Volnay, and Mersault since 1870. In the 1980’s they started pursuing more sustainable winemaking practices like eliminating all chemical pesticides and herbicides, reducing sulfur additions, and reduced aging in new oak. The ‘Les Pèzerolles’ cru is arguably the most ageable of their wines, yet it is singing with fresh aromatics and a lengthy palate that you can feel free to enjoy today. Peppery spices are complimented by a softer, silkier red fruited palate and a long, complex, intriguing finish.
