Corasco is a stunning wine made from grapes selected from various Venetian territories: Corvina grown on the Moraine hills in the heart of Valpolicella, Raboso grown in Treviso and Refosco grown in Aquileia.
It is made in a traditional Veronese manner of air drying the grapes just like they do for Amarone. The loss of water in the grape enriches the sugar content leading to a richer, more powerful wine with soft and silky tannins.
This is a long-time staff favourite for good reason; it delivers delicate dried fruit aromas with notes of spice, currants and black cherries finished off with a hint of tobacco from the subtle Slavonian oak.
