Never Bored with Bordeaux!
Bordeaux is one of, if not, the most famous wine region in the world! It’s known for its structured red wines and rich history. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, ageable wines and high price points are what often come to mind when thinking about Bordeaux. However, Bordeaux is surprisingly diverse with growing sub appellations, a rapid goal to become fully sustainable, refreshingly good white wines and intense sweet wines. With so much to enjoy at varying price points, we are never bored with Bordeaux!

The small amount of Semellion in the wine adds more body and aromas of white flowers to the wine. Enjoy as an aperitif or with a winter salad with chévre.

Grand Verdus 2016 Generation Bordeaux Superiore- $27.95
The Generation represents the youth, wisdom, and experience of the successive generations of the Le Grix de la Salle family. 2016 was a highly accoladed vintage in Bordeaux and this wine over delivers. It is a blend of 55% Cabernet Franc and 45% Merlot, with aromas of fresh tobacco, dried herbs, and plum. The palate has great typicity and structure with dusty tannins, clean acidity, and dark fruits. Definitely a wine to compliment a meal, such as roast beef or a leg of lamb.
