The Rosier family moved from Champagne to Limoux in the South of France in 1982. Since then they have increased their production and continue to operate their family run winery, which is now in its second generation.

The Rosier family started making wine in Champagne before moving south to the birthplace of Sparkling wine, Limoux.

The first records of sparkling wine trace back to the region of Limoux. Written records, dating back to the 1500's reveal the Monks of St Hilaire making sparkling wine. The famous Blanquette de Limoux is made in the same method as Champagne and must contain a minimum of 90% Mauzac, with the rest Chardonnay or Chenin Blanc
