The Librandi family has been making wine in Calabria for the past four generations and in the small area of Ciro for three decades. This Rosato is made with 100% Gaglioppo [gah-lee-oh-po], a rare Italian grape variety that is related to Sangiovese. Fermented in stainless steel this wine is ever-so-slightly off-dry with notes of ripe field strawberry, juicy raspberry, and freshly squeezed blood orange juice. Try it with BBQ’d salmon.
