The Krutz Family started making wine in 2003, this was originally a passion project that was only meant to supply enough wine for close family and friends. Soon the demand grew and they increased their production to where they are now. Family run and operated by the Krutz brothers in California. They pay homage to their home state of Missisippi with their Magnolia line; Magnolia’s being the state flower. This Chardonnay has hails from Santa Lucia Highlands in Monteray County, where it benefits from the cooler climate. Expect notes of apples, pineapple, citrus and an elegant mineral quality. Spending 10 months in neautral French barrels before bottling, this isn’t your typical Californian Chardonnay and will be enjoyed by those who love French Chardonnays.
