The Krieger family has been growing grapes and making wine on the hills of Pfalz since 1652. Their Sauvignon Blanc shows classic nuances of grapefruit and fresh cut grass, but also reveals a personality all of its own. The zippy citrus spine that one might expect from Sauvignon Blanc is slightly toned down and the palate reveals notes of tropical golden fruits and a subtle sweet spice – almost reminiscent of Alsatian Pinot Gris. Try this with a goat cheese and apple salad.
