The Heartland story began in the late 1990’s when winemaker Ben Glaetzer became excited about the outstanding quality of fruit being grown in some of South Australia’s lesser-known regions, in particular, Langhorne Creek. Together, with industry veterans who shared his passion for making great wine, they grew Heartland into an award-winning winery, producing year in and year out some of the finest value wine in Australia. Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz meet two Italian varietals: Lagrein and Dolcetto, to create a round, spicy Australian blend. This plucky wine is a shop favourite, it punches well above its weight class delivering drinkers incredible taste and value. Plush dark fruit, tantalizing spice and round tannin make this a versatile food wine.
