Mike O’Connell and his wife Kathy established Grayson Cellars as an answer to the bourgeoning prices of California wine. Fruit for the Grayson wines are sourced from vineyards throughout California. By blending these plots and excluding the regional designate, the price stays down! This is a quintessential California Pinot Noir with notes of exotic raspberry and plum with a mix of cherry, violets, and a hint of sandalwood. Flavorful and silky in the mouth with good body, this wine has good texture and a lingering finish with a hint of toasted French oak.
